Makes about 4 servings

1/3 cup unbleached white flour (but only about 2 TB will be used)

2 large eggs, beaten (use the leftover to make a small omelet)

2/3 cup Signature SELECT Panko Breadcrumbs

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 cup DASH Lemon Pepper (or salt free seasoning of choice)

8 ounces Beehive Cheese Curds (flavor of choice)

Cooking spray of choice

Serve with sauces of your choice (marinara, hot sauce, ranch dressing, etc.)

  1. Preheat air fryer to 350-degrees. Set a plate on your work surface and set the air fryer basket over another pan (to catch the cooking spray).
  2. Place flour, eggs and breadcrumbs each in their own small shallow bowls. Add garlic powder and salt free seasoning to the breadcrumbs and toss to blend.
  3. Separate the cheese curds on a plate. Next to the air-fryer basket, place the breadcrumb bowl, then egg bowl, then flour bowl, then the plate with the cheese curds. A few at a time, place the cheese curds in the flour to coat well then using a fork, dip each curd into the egg mixture then the breadcrumbs and holding the fork with cheese curd over the air-fryer basket, coat well with cooking spray, and place it on the air fryer basket (I use another fork to pull the curd off of the first fork). Repeat with the remaining cheese curds, placing them ½-inch away from other curds.
  4. Air-fry until lightly golden (about 8 minutes). Keep an eye on them the last 2 minutes though in case you need to take them out early. Serve with your sauce of choice!
