Pumpkin Pate (for your kitty cat)

Makes 1 serving

Ingredients:

3 ounce can Cat Food Pate (i.e. Fancy Feast Chicken Feast Classic Pate)

1 teaspoon Signature SELECT 100% pure Pumpkin

about 7 tiny crunchy cat treats (i.e. Friskies Party Mix)

Instructions

1. Place an open pumpkin cookie cutter about 3 inches wide on your kitty’s serving plate. Holding the cookie cutter in place, spoon and spread the cat food pate into the pumpkin cookie cutter using a tiny spoon or similar.
2. Gently lift up the cookie cutter then softly place the pumpkin in the center of the pumpkin-shaped kitty pate and use the tiny spoon to gently spread the pumpkin over the top.
3. Decorate the pumpkin with eyes and a mouth using about 7 of the tiny crunchy cat treats. Call your kitty because it’s dinner time!

Our Vet says that pumpkin is great for a cat's bowel system if the cat needs a little help in that department; Our cats are 20 yrs old and 19 yrs old.

This is very cute, but I will probably just plop a little pumpkin on top of their food the next time I'm using pumpkin in a recipe - I think my cats won't appreciate the artistic effort!
