Back to School Bento Boxes

Make sure all of the ingredients you use are age appropriate for your child.

Makes 2 bento boxes

BENTO BOX Pizza Fun--Ingredients:

2 street taco sized tortillas of choice

about 10 slices Signature SELECT turkey pepperoni

1/3 cup Primo Taglio 4-Cheese blend

2 tablespoons O Organics pizza sauce or Signature Reserve marinara sauce

1/4-1/3 cup fresh fruit

1/3 cup raw veggies

1/8 cup nuts of choice (if appropriate)

1/8 cup yogurt covered raisins or other fun surprise

Directions:

1. Arrange the rolled-up street taco tortillas in the bento box and set the turkey pepperoni and cheese and small dish of sauce next to it.
2. In other compartments, place the fruit, veggies, nuts and fun surprise. Keep the bento box cold with re-usable ice packs or similar until it is eaten at lunch.

BENTO BOX Kid-Cuterie--Ingredients:

2 Babybel cheeses

folded Primo Taglio salame or pre-sliced deli meats

3 mini cucumbers

1 mandarin orange

4 grape or cherry tomatoes

1/3 cup Sugar Snap Peas (or other raw veggie)

2 Signature SELECT Toasted Grissini (breadsticks, broken into pieces)

1/8 cup Chocolate dip (ie.Hope Cashew & Almond Chocolate Dip/Spread), sold near hummus in deli

Directions:

• Use a mini open cookie cutter to cut out a fun shape in the center of the Baby bel cheeses and place in the bento box. Fold the deli meat of choice and place next to the cheese. Add the mandarin orange, cucumbers and tomatoes in the bento box.
• In other compartments, place the sugar snap peas and Grissini pieces. Spoon the chocolate dip/spread in a separate container and place in the bento box next to the Grissini. Keep the bento box cold with re-usable ice packs or similar until it is eaten.
