Favorite fried chicken side dishes?

This week the nation celebrated two major holidays--4th of July AND National Fried Chicken Day. [In my opinion, every day should be fried chicken day.] And while the chicken might be the star of the show, I'm a big fan of the sides. What's YOUR favorite sides? I'll kick it off with mac and cheese and baked beans....

One of my favorites is crunchy broccoli salad, it's a wonderful side for fried chicken -be it hot chicken fresh out of the fryer at a BB, or leftover cold chicken you've packed for a summer picnic -mmm-mmmmm, it's surely finger licking good!

Dutch Oven potatoes are a great side with fried chicken, the flavor array really complement each other.
