Today is National Dog Day, where we honor the special place they hold in our hearts. My dog is also a bit of a beggar when it comes to food! Some of his favorite things are carrot, sweet potato, and even Brussels sprout trimmings, so he is a great help cleaning up in the kitchen! The pots also get the benefit of a good 'pre-wash'!
