Your fridge is likely full of stuff that you want to keep cold, want to keep fresh (and likely a few things that have long since expired!). But there are some items that chefs don't refrigerate-and more than a few might surprise you. [For me, it was ketchup, mayo and BBQ sauce.] Check out this informative article to learn more.

While I knew most of this, some of this I wasn't aware of and so I looked it up.

Ketchup -Check. Can sit out for as long as a month.

Mozzarella -Shouldn't sit out for more than 2 hours.

Eggs -Can sit out for a week or more as long as they haven't been previously refrigerated. If they've been refrigerated, they shouldn't sit out for more than an hour or two.

Stone Fruit -Check.

Mayo -That's been opened shouldn't sit out more than 8 hours, as long as it hasn't been contaminated by other things.

Pico de Gallo -Check.

Chocolate -Check.

Tomatoes -Check

Nutella -Wait, there's leftover?

Burgers and Fries -True, they're better fresh, but still, who doesn't love leftovers?

Triple Creme Brie -Hadn't considered it, but it makes perfect sense.

BBQ Sauce -Check.

Butter -Check.

Tortilla Espanola -It can sit out at room temperature for up to two hours.
