Hey @ssgreenbean, welcome so glad you're here!  My dog Jolly shares my LOVE of green beans and she'll eat them right off the vine!  I also love growing them -so far my very favorites are an heirloom variety called, "Rattlesnake Beans" that vines get to be about 10 feet tall and the beans themselves are green with purple flecks.  Not only are they the sweetest green beans I've ever had, their seeds are terrific dried beans!  And FTR, I've just joined the ranks of empty nesters and I also love to entertain! ❤️
